Installation

Installation of card reader and printer mounts will be at your own cost. We have negotiated a good price for our customers at MAM Auto Electricians for £70 + VAT (TX models). Installations on Vito models take slightly longer, price will need to be discussed directly with MAM Auto Electricians.

Please note that MAM Auto Electricians will only provide written evidence of installation booking once proof of purchase is produced.

News

From 31 October 2016, drivers must demonstrate that they have the ability to accept card and contactless payments, and provide receipts for those payments upon request. This could be a handheld device, mobile solution of device fitted in the passenger compartment of the taxi. As long as the driver can demonstrate the following, they will be permitted to continue working after this date:

The driver must have the ability to accept cart and contactless payments;
The taxi must be displaying Tfl's card and contactless payment signage stickers in the correct position;
The driver can provide written evidence that the taxi is booked in to have a device (of cradle for a handheld device) fitted in the passenger compartment of the taxi
